In a family garage on the Monterey Peninsula, Marc Zurlinden turned wrenches on his father’s weekend racers. Becoming an acclaimed automation engineer and innovator, Marc focused on 911 restorations in the great Californian tradition. He’s now proudly worked with clients nationwide and across the globe.

While I didn’t know it at the time, my love and inspiration for Porsche began when I joined my father to buy a used 1972 911T from an Army Sargent. The car was twelve and I was ten. Always eager for a ride, I’d try to spot passing opportunities just so I could hear the engine whale at full throttle. Since then I’ve done everything possible to deepen my involvement with these thrilling cars.
For me, the best thing about a 911 is its capabilities across the spectrum of sports car driving. I’d love to own one of every type – I’d drive them for every occasion. Yet the greatest reward is the privilege of participating in its enduring legacy – providing knowledge, services, and parts that enable customers to experience the very best they can today.
