DESIGN & ENGINEERING CAPABILITY
ZG's design work covers the full scope — exterior form, interior environment, drivetrain specification, chassis engineering, and systems integration. We work in hand sketch, digital modeling, and full 3D rendering, and we prototype in-house through our ACF program before any production tooling is cut.
THE PARTNER NETWORK
Certain disciplines demand specialists. We've spent years building relationships with the finest in each field — engines, transmissions, electronics and engine management, suspension and brakes, wheels, and interior trimming. Every partner shares our standard. When a Zurlinden car leaves our facility, every component in it has been specified, sourced, and overseen to a single level of quality.
IN-HOUSE MANUFACTURING
Body panels, hoods, roofs, deck lids, bumpers, splitters, and bespoke structural components — designed and manufactured by Zurlinden through our autoclave carbon fiber program. 3D-scanned from factory originals or developed from clean-sheet designs, prototyped, CNC-tooled, and autoclave-cured then fitted at our facility. This is the capability that separates ZG from builders who outsource their most important components.
SINGLE BUILD OR SMALL PRODUCTION
ZG's design and manufacturing capability isn't limited to one-off commissions. If your vision calls for a small series — two, five, ten cars built to the same specification — our ACF tooling, engineering documentation, and partner relationships are designed to scale. The first car proves the concept. The rest are production.
FROM OUR STUDIO
The work below represents two directions from Zurlinden's own design studio. They are not client commissions. They are explorations — developed to test ideas, push proportions, and demonstrate the range of what's possible when the 911 platform is approached without compromise.
